I had no idea that Adam Bladwin was one of the poor persecuted conservatives of Hollywood, although I guess I should have. Mildly depressing, until I think about his amazing star turn in Next of Kin, and then everything is all right again.

But are you surprised by his politics? Sure, he plays the gun-toting, preemptive-strike-loving fool well, but didn't you always suspect he did it a little too well? (That said, I'd give a vestigial organ I don't really need to have been in the room when he and Kubrick discussed his lines in Full Metal Jacket.)
